De direct werkende, proportionele klep van het type 3285 is geschikt voor het doseren van vloeistoffen en gassen in gesloten of open regelsystemen. De klep wordt door een stappenmotor aangedreven. De geïntegreerde elektronica maakt de procesintegratie aanzienlijk gemakkelijker; extra aansturingsmodules zijn niet nodig. Om een bepaalde klepopening te behouden heeft de motor geen energie nodig. Deze eigenschap kan de energiebehoefte van een installatie drastisch reduceren en deze daardoor efficiënter maken. Type 3285 is als proportionele standaardklep, als uitvoering met geïntegreerde standenregelaar, en als uitvoering met geïntegreerde procesregelaar verkrijgbaar.
